The difference between building envelopes with reflection and without reflection becomes clear in the next graph. Isobooster is produced according the ISO-standard 6946:2007 which takes into account an airgap of 5 mm minimum between layers of aluminium.
The measured values are compared to calculations according to the European standard EN ISO 6946. This standard gives a method for the calculation of the warmth capacitance of building components. Also the case of airgaps, limited by a reflecting surface (with low emissivity) is taken into consideration. The average difference between the calculated values regarding warmth capacitance and the measured values is 0.1 m. ² K/W.
